Day 1

This is a little blog that I will update from time to time, uploading the beginnings of short stories that I've written but never had the motivation to finish. Some are quite good ideas in my opinion but just didn't get past the first chapter. The first little scripture of mine was an idea I had called Sound-Tracked. The idea of the book was that each chapter was named after a song and the events in that chapter would mirror the story of the song. I didn't even get as far as the 1st chapter with this one, it was just the preface, but here you are :D

Preface.
Track 1 - Thats What You Get
Track 2 - I Don't Think I Love You
Track 3 - All American
Track 4 - Hero/Heroine
Track 5 - Numb
Track 6 - Emergency
Track 7 - Animals
Track 8 - Heaven For The Weather, Hell For The Company
Track 9 - Down
Track 10 - Don't Speak Liar
Track 11 - Thank You for the Venom
Track 12 - Unintended

Preface

One thing you must remember to do when picking 'your song' is not pick a song that you particularly like. That way, when you fuck it all up you don't have to be reminded. I apologise, I'm only a few lines in and I'm already swearing. It's just that 'mess' didn't seem to be a strong enough word. Neither did 'bugger'. But everyone understands exactly what you mean when you
say 'fuck'. And don't get me wrong, you WILL fuck it up. Unless of course you're one of the lucky few who don't. To whom I say congratulations - you're officially a minority. And anyway, you lot grow to love that song because it reminds you of thatone true love of yours. It's a shame I didn't follow my own rule. I now have the soundtrack to my love life on a CD and I still didn't manage to hold on to the one person that was truest to me. I still believe she was my true love, though I didn't think it at the time. It's amazing the stupidity you have during adolescence (Mine still hasn't actually gone yet but everyone else's has, or so it seems at least). Music seems to be a great influence on the masses. It makes connections in your brain that sometimes you would rather weren't made, but are made in fucking spite of you. But then, they only hurt when
it was a bad connection. Thats what you get when you let your heart win. And this is where my soundtrack begins.
